Kevin Ru

Industrial Hygiene Intern

Kevin Ru is a second year MPH student at UC Berkeley with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics as well as a NIOSH trainee in the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology program. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Society and Genetics at UCLA where he developed a strong background in social determinants of health along with training and assessment. He is interested in addressing health disparities across marginalized populations, particularly in relation to occupational health and chronic disease outcomes and exposures. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing video games, and trying new food spots with friends.
